| "Affectionately known as the "Moon," people love coming here. When they leave I know they have had a great experience because we treat them specially. We take whatever time is necessary for each and every customer. That’s why they keep coming back!" | Featuring: Trevor Pfeffer FUSION
Time has caught up with me. One of the strongest visual influences in my
life, was growing up around the airbrushed, Technicolor artwork that is
associated with hot-rods and musical culture of the 70's and early 80's.
Taking compositional cue's from this era has allowed me to blend elements
of abstract works with the inspirational properties of the plain air sketch.
The impressionists' painted their 'outdoor life'. My 'outdoor life' works are
modern adaptations of that same goal. I believe nature contains all of the lessons we seek out in life. When we learn the patience to really look, we become witness to the heart of truth
and beauty - often bordering on the spiritual. Our reverence for the
elements, their energy, and the symbiotic role they play get lost to
modernity with each passing year. The landscape is alive. It is artistic
Canadian heritage to present the evocative landscape - by any means
necessary. This requires taking inspiration from the masters of media, both
past and present, for whom nature is the great teacher. Comments or questions regarding the artwork are welcome, and encouraged.
